Spring Cleaning.

HI there happy bloggers, What is it about the sunshine that makes you want to spring clean, well thats what lve been doing, inside and out, in the garden, weeding , planting, feeding, transplanting, and inside, just general cleaning , but l think l need a colour change, lm over the warmer colours and l think l will start using some brighter colours in the house now, you will have to stay tuned and  l'll get some pics together soon, and there has been some scrapping going on , but l cant show you those till a later date, but l did make some cards, just quickly......lol.

Here's a bit of a man card, l made two of these and just changed the paper around, lve used the sanded stamp  and engraved greetings  from stamp'in up , sadly both of these stamps we say goodbye to, but there are lots of new goodies coming, the paper is My Minds Eye, and here the other one.

Next we have some baby cards,l dont do these often, but l suppose it pays to have a couple on hand.

.These owls are oh so cute, l havent used this set enough, and heres a cute little girl one.

Well thats it from me today, have to get back to getting some home decorating ideas, its great to have all these ideas, its just finding what you want is sometimes the hard part, anyway till next time............kate xx

Assorted Cards

Hey there happy bloggers, lve been so busy the last couple of weeks and really haven't had to much time for blogging,   lve been working on another project and l cant show you all yet,  so you will have to keep popping back for a look , some things l can show you are some cards l made for a lady that orders from me in bulk, they are mainly kid cards and l was able to do a couple of man cards, yay .

Here's  my first man card, the stamp set used is a new one from Kaiser Craft, this set also has fish and bugs and l just love it, great for the outdoorys sort-a- bloke, the paper is My minds eye.

this is the fish from the same set, cant wait to do some more designs with this set. Well done to Kaiser for thinking of somthing different.

this is my fave boy card, the sanded background stamp is also one of my faves as well and l love the blue and orange combo.

Class cards

Hi all, just poping in to show you some cards we made in the last class, l did a christmas in July theme,  the first card was made using the Delightful Decorations set and the Curly Cute set.

 colour combo is Real red, Baja breeze, Whisper white,  sorry this is not the best photo.   In the next card l used the Tree trimming set, mixed with a stamp from Elements of style and the saying is from Heard from the heart set, love that set, would have to be one of my fave's

colour combo is  Old olive and whisper white cardstock and inks are Real red, pear pizzaz and Sahara sand and add a couple of pearls, and here is the inside.

and the last card l have used Certainly celery and whisper white cardstock, l ran the w/w cardstock through my epic 6 embossing machine using  perfect polka dots folder and also the vintage wallpaper folder and then using the Ornament punch to punch them out, l lightly rubbed silver  ink ( not stampin up )over the embossing and using the Heard from the heart set again onto a strip of w/w card and using the Scallop trim boarder punch  for a decorative edge.

Week In A Life

Hey there happy bloggers, lm back, l think l told you all that l was doing Week in a life with the Wonderful Ali Edwards, so lm sort of finished, l have only friday to complete, (waiting for hubby to get a few photos l need off his phone ) so lm going to show you a bit of what lve done.
l have used a 8.5 x 11 album, first time scrapping in one and l quite enjoyed it, lm not going to show you every page, none of it was done digi, as l have no idea on that, so its the old fashioned way or nothing.

first page, stating what time lm getting up at the moment, instead of making all my pages, l went for a colour theme , duck egg blues, browns, white , a bit of grey , most of my photos were printed in sepia.

l printed up my journaling of what l did for the day and what times, added a few stamps and paper, another hint from Ali was to make smaller pockets and sew a seam down the side of your pocket and cut the rest off, or use it for another long photo, paper, journaling block, whatever you desire l suppose, on the backof these smaller pages, l used cropped photos and more journaling.

This is our son in his new clean (but not for long) white overalls, off to his pre- apprentiship , l drive him to the station and get there at 6.15am.

frosty mornings and gardening.

this is our cheeky dog , who loves to sneek in under the bed blankets when no one is looking.

housework and nightly train pick up.

nothing on tv - so we relax reading or on the computer, our eldest son has moved home for a bit, so he has his bed in the living room.

this is sunday, with some raffle tickets David brought, dont think we won (Doh) and lastly just a short over view of what we are all doing in our life right now.
